Who will be nominated for 2024?

Mr. Pictureboy...

I'm not in any way embrarrased,  particularly because you seemingly want me to be. I ain't. You want links..here's 2.

Evidently you're big on citations to support one's contentions. Do you include citations with all your claims here? I don't factually know the answer to that, but I doubt it. I'll admit some things need to include reference links ( assuming the reference is not biased one way or the other..which is difficult to pin down these days) .It's not as if the Sink is a bastion for publication of scientific or technical articles, is it? If you want links you got em, now. No more whining..and don't call me a liar again , either.

I call him Mr Proofy Proof.  He does this all the time actually.  It is pretty lame.

Does he routinely post citations with his stances / claims?

From time to time he does.  He definitely isn't the worst of the bunch but when backed into corner, he is always screaming for proof for anybody's opinion or stance.  Mr Picture does call out Kevin which is refreshing.

The worst is the ignorant pig, Toad.

Ok, evidently he prefers them, then. At least he appears to have a sense of humor at times..albeit a shade bent. Thanks.

"a shade"? - surely you jest...

Sorry, to 🌧️ on everyone's parade but it will be a Biden vs.Trump rematch.  If Republicans don't give Trump the nomination, he will run as an independent and Biden will cakewalk to his reelection.

The only wrinkles I see are possible health problems for Trump or Biden and Trump being in prison.  More than likely Trump will have been indicted by then but not put on trial yet.

And yes, if Trump is the Republican nominee every conservative here at LVA will debase themselves and vote for Trump again.

Mark..What makes you so certain that Trump will be the R nominee? Is it because you believe he just couldn't stand not to be?

Occasionally, yes. *l*

Charles, exactly, he won't stand for not being the nominee. If he is not the nominee, he will sabotage the nominee and or run as an independent. His ego and a desire for a get out of jail free card will keep him from doing anything else.

Trump running as an independent is a nightmare for the Republican party as it would generate massive down ballot losses as the MAGAs defect. That's a circumstance they want to avoid at all costs.

I think top tier candidates, like DeSantis, will see the writing on the wall and hold off until 2028 expecting the public will be ready for a change after eight years of Biden.
