Regarding available apartments at Eugene Terrace, my friend's recently vacated place at 1730 N. Clark street, Chicago, IL, which sits DIRECTLY ON LINCOLN PARK but also in OLD TOWN NEIGHBORHOOD. Eugene used to be difficult to get into with usually a year plus waiting list. I checked yesterday and they have 29 vacancies in the building. Steve's place is up for rent at $3300/mo plus parking.
The crime and social "disruptions" in Old Town from the organized "Shut Downs" is without question the main reason for the vacancies.

Regarding stupid Tommie-poo's bogus "source," it reports a higher vacancy rate in METRO Portland than the rate I mentioned in the CITY of Portland. But stupid Tommie-poo leaps on anything, however dubious, that "proves" his "point." Whatever.
If he was able to read, he would have seen that the article attributes migration to the suburbs to an increase in remote work, a NATIONAL phenomenon, and not any kind of "proof" that Portland is awful awful terrible.
