Why Las Vegas is NOT Running Out of Water Anytime Soon

There are about 3,000 salmon coming from this reservoir.  Assuming they weigh 10 pounds each for a total of 30,000 pounds or 15 tons.  There are about 1 million tons of wild salmon caught each year.  So the salmon in question make up .000015% of the total salmon catch.

So Ca is wasting millions of gallons of water that can be used to relieve water shortages & help millions of people get water & feed millions to protect an insignificant amount of fish

Wild salmon can't come from a reservoir. Salmon need an upstream path to spawn, which is blocked by the dam that creates the reservoir. Hatchery fish can be farmed, but they won't be wild, and water policy doesn't affect that one way or the other.

Then are dozens of good reasons to keep waterways open. And there are dozens of ways to augment the West's water supplies other than building more dams and choking off rivers. Virtually all the good damsites in the US have already been used anyway.

What does "Then are dozens" mean?  Did you make a mistake?  Stop the presses, notify CNN and MSNBC - Lewis made a mistake! Unbelievable! This can't be true...

Well, I'll leave it to your towering intellect to figure out what I meant to say when I made this typographical error.

You are the FIRST to criticize anyone who makes an error - about time YOU accepted the fact that YOU are not immune to doing so. How do you like being chastised?

When did I ever say I don't make typographical errors? I just catch and fix far more of them than morons with poor educations, like you, do.

Now amuse yourself further by beating this dead horse.
