Yay! Cluster Bombs for Ukraine.

Congratulations Liberal War Mongers!  You and your Neocon Allies must be creaming your pants at the prospect of shipping weapons banned by 100+ countries to support your proxy war against Russia.  It's about time you cozied up to the likes of John Bolton and Lindsey Graham.  You've now become the people you hated most.

Nothing like supporting deployment of weapons that kill indiscriminately. You get the added benefit of the bombs that fail to explode threatening civilians and especially children, for decades after this conflict ends.  I'm old enough to remember when principled liberals would not only be against such a policy they'd actually protest it.   You can bet they would be protesting if it was a Republican president shipping cluster bombs to a war zone.  Unfortunately 'principled liberals' has become an oxymoron.  Maybe you can petition to bring back Napalm.

The Russians have been using their shitty cluster bombs in Ukraine for years, idiot.

Oh yeah Charles. This is actually a "proxy war" started by liberals! Putin fell wight into our cwever twap!

I'm not aware of ANY weapon that kills any other way than "indiscriminately"--unless you know of a weapon that pauses and says, "Hmm, should I explode or not?"

Cluster bombs kill people. Artillery shells that smash into occupied apartment buildings kill people. A bullet that pierces the forehead of a five-year-old girl kills her. You can't convince me of any meaningful distinction.

If Trump or DeSantis was President, he would have shipped huge quantities of cluster bombs long ago. To Russia.

All I know is, if the Russians had invaded the US and occupied Virginia, the Carolinas, and Georgia, turned five million people into refugees, killed and injured hundreds of thousands of people, and ruined our economy, and someone said, "We may need cluster bombs to drive them out," you'd say, "Load 'em up!" without a second thought. And so would I.

The Chameleon party for sure.

Charles, you would have a valid point if cluster munitions weren't already being used by the illegal occupying force in this case. You have a sovereign nation wanting these munitions to drive out these occupiers for use on their own soil.  Now is the time to push the Russians out of Ukraine because the Russian army is in disarray after the Wagner split.

The Wagner forces were never more than 3% of the active Russian forces in the field, so their withdrawal is only an inconvenience.

I support the use of cluster bombs.  Win this war!

At least our cluster bombs work.

How shocking.  Mark, Todd, Kevin are lining up with Boilerman wishing to escalate the death and destruction in Ukraine.  I had hoped one of them was salvagable.  Tow the party line.  At least not all Democrats have turned into war mongering, immoral, hypocritical, neocons.  Just the ones who post here.

I can only imagine what the unprincipled Biden butt kissers would be saying if it was Donald Trump sending these weapons to a war zone and another forever war.  Be honest with yourselves boys.  If it's anything different than what you said in this thread, you should probably examine why you're buying what the military industrial complex is selling you.

For those who are convinced the moral high ground is escalating the war by supplying weapons banned by over 100 countries, I direct you here:

It points out how we helped tank the peace negotiations in April of 2022.  350,000 Ukrainian lives ago.  Also, "...highlights contradictory statements made by President Biden and Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, indicating that the US's motives in Ukraine were not purely humanitarian but rather focused on regime change and degrading the Russian military."  Not a proxy war my ass.

Those are way too many points for the guys here to follow.

Kevin is stuck on inflation being 3.2% annually in another post.  My God, has anything gone up as little as 3.2% since a year ago?  You have to be Toad bad at math believe that one.
