Las Vegas Center Strip casino greed

Hello Max. Thank you for responding. Perhaps the best way for me to find out is to go to the M and play one full session and then call the service mgr or go ask by the club. I'm just a little hesitant as the dining options at the M are more upscale than what I have at the Southpoint.  I don't like to pay 45 dollars for a light breakfast.i can do 3 days in a row, 10'000 dollars coin-in per day, no problem. And then they can surely tell me how much the discount on the room will be based on such a play level.

Boris, in my admittedly limited experience asking Hosts 'what it takes', Hosts aren't that helpful.  They'll either skirt around the question, say "we don't work on commission", or give you a figure that might scare you away, or the usual "ask a Host before you check out."

I've read that contacting a Host after the first day, introduce yourself, no ask at that point except maybe "Can you recommend some great dining here?", something like that, has potential for gaining a Host of record and maybe some comps.

BTW I have no idea about M.

But I'll guess that $10,000 coin-in per day for three days will have pretty good results at M, being far out from Center/Downtown.

Best luck.

Hi Candy

I noticed the same that you described. And I understand that no casino wants to open its books to the public. Their management rules are their rules. And what they give us is to their discretion.

Some places start automatically with their online offers, a few months after my visit. I experienced that from hotels in Mesquite and Laughlin.  Unless you are a real high roller then you are probably more on the side to ask about a discount after you have already played and before you check-out. Sam's Town had this policy, and Southpoint is also evaluating my play. In fact, the latter does it in a way that I have nothing to do except let them know that I have left and would love to be back in the near future. Then they usually get back at me within 2 or 3 days. Even if the complete bill has been charged to my card, they can reserse these charges. I can only say good things about the Southpoint. That's why I have no problems when I fly back home a loser. It's because they do appreciate my action.
