A drop of 280,000 visitors for 2025 is 767 per day. So, far smaller than the silly point he was trying to make.
However, his silly point that it's insignificant is ridiculous. A 20% drop in visitation (1.4 M / 280,000) is a major indicator. If Vegas visitation overall dropped by 20%, all the casinos would go broke. And quickly.
That said, I'm more concerned about several hundred thousand of our former Canadian friends hating us than its effect on casino profits.
It's partisan statistics. Hell, the drop in Canadian visitation is less than 1/2000 of the world population!

You had it right at 5385 per week since that's the typical amount of time a visitor books a vacation for. So at any given time that's how many visitors were missing last year. And that's just from Canada. I suspect the numbers are also down from other countries Trump insulted for the same reason.

The funny thing is I remember the FOX News junkies shitting their pants during the Obama administration because he said this: ""You don't blow a bunch of cash on Vegas when you're trying to save for college"

Obama tanked the casino stocks. We bought low and made some money. With the gambling numbers still good, it seems like the only thing hurting here is the Canadiian's feelings I am hoping they choose to stay away and we get better deals
