Thanks for all the tips. The Flamingo #202 bus runs frequently, so I can head over to Ellis Island. They have good specials and an LVA coupon.

Almost certainly, yes, if they've sent you an email confirmation and it cites the rates, that's what you'll pay.
FWIW, checking in at the kiosk, no one even asks you for the coupon.
Kevin, you have posted that they hold onto your security deposit for an extended time. Is it better to check-out in person? That is really my only concern. Especially in Canadian dollars, where $100 US is $143 Canadian.

You won't get the security deposit back Immediately no matter how you check out, because technically, they didn't withdraw that money from your checking account; they just placed a hold on it. Same practical effect as far as your not having access to your own money is concerned. Also, it appears that the hold release has to be processed by a human in the accounting department, which only works Mon-Fri.
I've heard something about a $500 cap on the hold (it's been $100 per night of stay, with no upper limit), but I haven't verified that. I did manage to get my $1100 hold reduced to $500 during my December stay, after raising a big stink.

I remember you posting that. I don't mind waiting 7-10 business days, but that should be it. The Silver Sevens charges $150 per stay and they debit your credit card, not just a hold. I usually have to wait a week to get a refund and it's always less than the charge because of currency exchange. Sometimes I stay there as they have a 4:00 a.m. airport shuttle
