I have a different theory:  To me, "average 3x per day" does not mean it hits 3x per day. It can hit just 1x or perhaps 5x, I think they go by the total for the month (which would be then 8x3= 24 hits, so 3 hits on average per day. That's my theory).

The total of Sundays and Mondays in July is, if I am right, 8. So that means, it will trigger 24x within the month. Nobody knows for sure when, but it can't get any higher than 5000, if the rules are correct, and it must hit by 5000 and can't sit idle for hours until it it. Is that what it is?

So, basically, using common sense, if the Southpoint gets a lot of patrons in the first half of July, then chances are it triggers more often than 12 x (half month, half of the days and therefore half of the number of hits). And then perhaps there's a limit of hits so the total amount of (250'000?) can't exceed the payouts.  If there were already 24 hits and the payout of 250k has been reached, could it be that the promo is over by July 28 or so?

So the question is this: Does the jackpot hit by 5000 (a must-hit-by rule?) or does it hit between 1000 and 5000 but the trigger amount can theoretically be set higher than 5000 and the jackpot stays at 5000 for a few hours until it hits? There are certain slots with such programs and it is unpredictable. Would be nice to find out if it's a must hit by-ruling, or hits somewhere between 1000 and 5000, but the moment when it hits is not defined.

Overall it seems to me like a cool promotion. However, I was involded in such promotions and sometimes it did not give me the free play. It was at Station Casinos back then, and I took it certain machines (100% games) 0r almost 100 per cent games were excluded from the free play awards.
