Manning didn't cause the snapper to snap the ball over his head, poor line play caused created tips on both interceptions & I don't think Manning plays on the kickoff team.

I didnt know being down 2 points for the best offense in football was tough to overcome. the seahawks defense led the nfl in turnover differential at +39. that wasnt luck. their defense causes turnovers. peyton threw more than one pick, so dont use the tip as a excuse for him.he is a great qb, but is one of the worst big game qb's of all the greats. put pressure on him in the big game, and he folds like a blanket. john elway will always be the greatest qb of all time. put some talent around him and he wins 2 superbowls. put very little talent around him, and he gets you to 3 more superbowls, even though he lost them.

Didn't say that - the safety indicated that they were not prepared or focused; as the rest of the game bore out

Manning leaves the Colts and they win 1 game the following year. He goes to the Broncos & they go from an above average team to one of the top teams in the AFC, 2 years in a row

i understand that. he is a great qb. read my post. i said he is the worst big game qb of all the GREATS. people say he is the best qb of all time. i disagree with this. he isnt. brady is a example of a great big gameqb. just watch the snow game against oakland 10 years ago. manning could never win that game. brady was brilliant in his passing in the snow and wind and made few mistakes. manning would have thrown 4 picks.

Brady hasn't won the SB since 2004 even though the Pats have been in the playofs every year he has played since 04 & has lost his last 2 playoff games against Manning.

I think people put too much weight on the QB's shoulders. Jeff Hostetler has more SUper Bowl victories than Dan Marino. Anyone want to claim Hoss was a better QB?

The Broncos are a very average team that got to the Superbowl purely on the back of Peyton Manning. How far would they have got with Cutler? or worse...Tebow?

Don't mention Tebow. You know how will get all fired up and tell you that Tebow has just as many rings wearing the Orange as Peyton.

Now that would be an interesting list, medicocre QB's that have won SBs

Brady and Elway are the only qb's to go to 5 super bowls! brady won 3 and 2 for elway. manning won 1 and lost 2. you have to be a big game qb to go to 5 super bowls and win 3. all that being said, peyton is a great qb and HOF player. i just think he is below elway, and brady. i dont put montana on the list because he was surrounded by HOF players and HOF coach. if marino played for the niners he would have won 4 super bowls.
