$50 All-Purpose comp at the Palms

I just visited LVA homepage for the 1st time in 2 weeks to see if that annoying video had gone. It doesn't automatically load now so it is safe to go back. Yeah . . . . . !
So I saw the result of the poll about coupons from the LVA book and who is looking forward to using what.
The response was overwhelmingly for Palms $50.00 comp. I have a question - when we drove there a couple of years ago the best use we could find was line up for a long time to get into a buffet of have a meal in the coffee shop - which wasn't very good. So I'm guessing there must be lots of other things that the coupon can be used for that I don't know about.. Can anyone point me to a list? Thanks

I would like to know also. In the 7 years I have gotten it, I have still never used it.

I have never used mine either. People I know have used it in the past for the sunday brunch at the mexican restaurant, which is now closed. I would love to use it in the gift shop, but not sure if they would allow that.

We've always used it for the Sunday Brunch mentioned by Benue.
As he also mentioned, it is now closed. Very unhappy about that.
Not sure what I'll use it for now.
We've eaten at the coffee shop and the buffet and weren't all that impressed.
I'd like some suggestions too.

We usually stop in once every trip to use some ACG match plays and have a buffet lunch with the Palms coupon (nothing to write home about, but pretty decent. Love the espresso machine...) I think the $50 can be used on spa services, but they are way overpriced to begin with in my opinion. Happy trails!

I read that they dropped the spa from the coupon - which is what makes me wonder why everyone seems to think that it is such a good deal. 2 for 1 buffet or 2 for 1 coffee shop doesn't equate to $50.00. I don't see anything else.

Some people have said good things about using it at NOVE.

I havent used it either. Wonder if you could use it in the gift shop.

I asked LVA admin to clarify it either here or on question of the day.
