9/11 meseum fee?

They're considering charging an entrance fee to the museum now. I know there's been problems with funding the whole thing because it's gone way overbudget but this somehow seems so wrong to me. I haven't visited what they have yet but I understand it's a very solemn and humbling place to visiit, kinda like the Vietnam memorial down on the mall which I've been to. I really don't get why in the world it cost so much to operate a museum when it's finally open, I mean really, open the doors in the morning, security and staff, how much more is there? It's not like they need any curators or anything.
The I think the $20-$25 entrance fee may actually be cost prohibitive to some folks who may really have a personally vested interest to visit, like I said, it just seems wrong to me somehow.

JOHN
I imagine like all museums with a fee have programs that allow those in who can't afford the admission.

Why should it be free? DC is the only place I know with free access to museums.
We make the accomplishments of those 20+ terrorists that day too important. Now a museum so fancy it requires as high an entrance fee as I've seen for any museum in the US?

The least interesting thing about the two people I know who died in 9/11 was that they were murdered by terrorists. Yet museums like this make it more likely that that's all these two good people will be remembered for, being slaughtered en masse by terrorists.

Above all else, the terrorists want attention. Well, mission accomplished, again.

Oklahoma City got it right. This museum not so much.
How come 9 terrorists that supposedly died on 911, are still alive?

They're vampires?
And two planes that supposedly crashed are still flying! I watched that "Loose Change 2nd Edition" again and there are just too many unanswered questions!

here we go....

I can go to Arlington and visit my uncle's grave for free. He was at the Pentagon. And the memorial at the Pentagon itself is very nice, and is, I'm pretty sure, free.

On the other hand, the $20-$25 entrance fee in NY would probably dissuade me from going
The memorial is free. They are "exploring" an entrance fee to the underground museum.
