Anaheim

Well it looks like we're gonna be spending a couple of weeks in cal-i-for-nia this fall. My therapist from the burn unit invited us to the World Burn Conference and they're flying us out to attend. Seems they find little ol' me interesting in the fact I never should've survived. The conference itself from oct.22-25 and we decided to hang out in Anaheim. We lucked out and exchanged a timeshare for the following week and it's only a few blocks from the Hilton where we're staying

I don't have much of a clue what all there is to do in Anaheim, as a matter of fact I know ZERO about it other than Disneyland is there. The Hilton that we're staying at for TWBC looks to be across the street from the shops at Anaheim Garden walk.I also saw Knotts berry farn and Seaworld are there as well.

Anyoo, I was wondering if anybody knew much(or anything) about Anaheim and if they wouldn't mind sharing. Appreciate it!

Have a great trip!
Sea World isn't close - it's in San Diego - and if you're limited to just Anaheim, Disneyland is about it - but they do have two different parks. It's often warm in Orange County in October, so if it were me, I'd be spending a lot of time at the beach. But if mobility is an issue, the beaches are huge, so you might want to go to Huntington Pier. And last time I parked there, it was $15. Enjoy.
Maybe you and Forkush could meet up over there at Disneyland and he could show you around.

Disneyland is now two different theme parks. One is Disneyland and the other is the California Adventure. Knott's Berry Farm is nearby also, which is in Buena Park. Long Beach isn't too far away and there are attractions there.

Other than the theme parks, there are theaters and malls, but Forkie is right, there isn't much more.
Maybe Forkush, Roulette Man and jatki99 could have a member meet right there in Disneyland.
What about a ghetto walk?
You said you were spending a couple of weeks in California so where else you plan to visit? Yes, Anaheim is best known for Disney Land and California Adventure, but is right down the freeway from Los Angeles which opens up a whole world of things to do. I also recommend the beaches in Orange County. You will probably find Knott's Berry Farm a bit of a dump compared to Disney properties.
Forkie decided that racial profiling was acceptable when used to save his butt. No Ghetto Walk for Forkie.

Commissioner alanleroy set up quite fair terms, and I agreed to them. Boilerman demurred.

But I'm ready to go any time.
