Another thought, imagine the outrage in the black community if this tape was hidden and it was a white player. Jessie and Al would be setting up camp asking why blacks are targets and whites have crimes covered up.

We dont have to speculate what Sharpton's response is to the current controversy.
Sharpton on Rice

Where was the white community and Boilerman when Ben Rothlesberger raped a woman? White People like Boilerman can be so hypocritcal...it must be due to the melanin pigmentation levels of their skin.

Oh really, Ben R raped a woman? you were there?

He was suspended 6 games for it.

PJ, please cut and paste all the comments that Boiler has made regarding any rape case. Now PJ is arguing that Al and Jessie don't look to stir the pot. What a chuckle.

Of course they stir the pot but no more so than you.
You stirred up this thread when you decided to introduce race into it. I'm amused how you play the same game but judge yourself with different rules.
He didn't get 6 games for raping a woman. He got six games for being an idiot.

I fully admit that the decision in the league office to stuff the video in a file drawer had nothing to do with race. If the tables were turned, however, Jessie and Al would not be so reasonable.

So no, there is zero similarity.

It was 4 games and it wasn't for raped, no charges were ever pressed and it seemed like a girl accused him after the fact. The girls story changed a few times so no one really knows what happened.
I knew a guy in college who got accused of rape, it was a horrible ordeal. Turned out the girl was just pissed 'cause he blew her off afterwards. After all her friends even said it was consensual, she was just angry, she recanted.

I have heard he's somewhat of an asshole, or at least used to be.

Do any members of the Palin family have a job? If so, perhaps their employer should suspend them for 2 games.

Palin party turns into Jerry Springer like altercaition.

"But several witnesses said the trouble started when Track Palin, Mrs. Palin’s son, confronted a former boyfriend of his sister Willow and a fight broke out. Before long Mrs. Palin’s husband, Todd, who also races snowmobiles and was also celebrating a birthday (his 50th), was said to have gotten involved in the fighting.

Later, according to witnesses, Bristol Palin, one of Mrs. Palin’s daughters, threw several punches at the owner of the house where the party was being held.

The result was a brawl said to involve about 20 people. In the end, the Palin family was ordered by the homeowner to leave, witnesses said.

Witnesses said the Palin family members climbed back into their stretch Hummer limousine. Before they left, however, Mrs. Palin unleashed several rounds of profanity and Track Palin made a vulgar gesture toward the crowd, according to one participant at the party who declined to be identified out of fear of reprisals.

Just another Saturday night in Anchorage. I wonder if Track is named after a snowmobile track.

How in the wild world of sports do we introduce the Palin's into this Ray Rice moment? Or I should say the demise of Roger Godell.
