any of you gong to casinos other than las vegas?

With being so busy we have not been to vegas since last Feb. Seems flight tixs are priced way too high and finding the time to make a trip worthwhile is another problem.

So, we have been getting our fix in Blackhawk Co and a few indian casinos a bit closer by. Blackhawk is okay, they have something around 25 casinos and the slot payouts are pretty reasonable. Nice mountain town that has lots of history in mining and such. Would recommend it to someone that is looking for a nice relaxing time.

Have some nice comps in vegas through the summer. With my work schedule it is not going to happen for a few months atleast.
I go to Tunica quite a bit and went to New Orleans (driving distance) last month. But I don't go to Indian Casinos at all. I go to Vegas too, though.
Stopped in at the track in Hot Springs the other day.
Hit a machine for $300 in 5 minutes, and left!
Me...leaving after 5 minutes with a win. This is simply unheard of.

Best part was the Reuben Sandwich and killer hot fudge brownie with vanilla ice cream in their little restaurant prior to hitting the machines.

For a race track casino its not bad. Its the only game in town too.
Parx
Harrah's Philly
AC

Sandia casino. Albuquerque, New Mexico. We have 6 casinos within 30 minute drive but we like Sandia.
Here in BC, the decent casinos are $200.00 plus per night to stay, plus the odds are poor, particularly on video poker. Vegas is free. So I do go local occasionally but for 3 days or more Vegas is a better deal.
I go to Harrah's Rincon once in a while. Used to go more often, but with Faye's condition it kind of put a halt to things like gambling. But, the casinos will always be there 24/7 365. But really do miss the Silverton. Hopefully I'll be there towards the end of August to sign up for my football contests.
No.......LOL
Not in nearby Cleveland. You pay $35 to park or else ride the Rapid in. Place has been packed, meaning BJ has full tables and high limits. VP is abysmal. Slot payouts match this month's weather, both averaging in the upper 80's.

Might visit Soaring Eagle in the fall. Nice hotel, decent VP, tolerable BJ. Long drive.

We go to AC at least once a month. We stay at Caesars or Ballys in the summer and Harrahs Marina non beach weather.
We also go to Dover Downs 2-3 times a month.
DD gives great comps and has some nice rooms overlooking the track. NASCAR and harness racing.
