Ok, You talked us into it....my wife and I have both signed up!! She is pretty competative in everything we do (golf, bowling, ect) so the matchup between our two teams shoild be interesting!!

There's only 8 teams left, . . . so anyone interested better get his hiney in gear and hustle on over to ESPN to join up.

wrosie...I was a bit confused, too. DonDiego changed the time from 9:15 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. EST (Eastern Standard Time) which DD called EDT (Eastern Daylight Time). Anyway....whether it is "Standard" or "Daylight" it is the EAST COAST time of 9:30 p.m. on August 29.

(As a native Arizonan, I was always so PROUD that we never moved our clocks forward or backward....I enjoyed being unique. Now that we live in the East, I've discovered how much of a pain the entire clock-moving thing is! And, every year, there are ALWAYS newspaper articles calling for the dissolution of Daylight Savings Time but of course, politicians would never do anything that the people actually want. Oops, sorry, small soapbox, but I really don't like the whole the whole time-change thing)

When quaffone says "The Mob is in", does he mean he brought a mob-of-5 in with him or just that he, the Mob, is the owner of the team Hooters Rule ?

In any case there are now 12 teams; the league is complete.

The live on-line draft is set for 9:30PM EDT on Thursday August 29th. It'd be cool if everyone can be there to choose their team's players. If not, the ESPN computers will select players for any team not represented by its owner.

DonDiego strongly suggests that everyone, especially any newbies, practice how-to-draft beforehand. One can do that by clicking into the Mock Draft Lobby on the ESPN Fantasy Football website and selecting any 12-team Mock "Snake" entry.
CAUTIONS FOR PRACTICE
i. Make sure to click on the Mock Draft Lobby NOT the Live Draft Lobby. (The Live Draft Lobby will enroll one right then-and-there into an unnamed team with unknown players.)
ii. Make sure to select a "Snake" NOT an "Auction" Draft (Auction involves buying a team by bidding against one's opponents player-by-player with play money; a "Snake" is just a sequential selection from Team#1 to Team#12, then Team#12 to Team#1, and repeating for a total of 16 selections.)

DonDiego doesn't know anybody's prior Fantasy Football experience.
