Anybody Voting Today ?

DonDiego intends to join others in his community in casting a ballot for better Government.

Where can I vote for her?
I already voted, on my way to work this morning.

Rick
I sent in my early ballot the first part of October.

I voted absentee last month Since I am a long ways from my residence.
My wife rolled in from work at 1:30 this morning and was back in her office by 8:30. She said she is too tired and too busy to go vote. So, I told her there was an initiative on the ballot that would prevent her from flying to Vegas, privately or publicly, without at least three stops. She REALLY needed to go vote against it.......She didn't fall for it.
For many years now, I receive an absentee ballot several weeks before an election. And I vote or have voted in every election, including primaries, for more than 30+ years. I think of it as my duty and obligation.

With that said, this is the first time in many many years that I did not submit my absentee ballot early.

(I am referring to the Florida Gubernatorial election.)

IMHO, both "major" candidates are incompetent, and possibly criminal. More importantly, I just do not admire or like either of them as individuals.

I also hate "smear" advertising, which was overly abundant on television. Unfortunately the other 3 candidates for governor were not allowed to participate in the debates, nor did they get much television advertising. They were "blocked" from debates by Scott & Crist.

Disappointed at the lack of "good news", I completed and dropped off my ballot this morning, in person, after checking the news. Regrettably, I felt compelled to cast my vote for the lesser of two evils.

I dutifully trotted up to my polling place again today, knowing that the only satisfaction I have as a progressive living in Texas is that I canceled out one right wing teabillie's votes. This election I have decided it's the guy a few streets over whose flagpole is adorned only by the Texas and Confederate flags.....

Holy-Moly !

It looks like it worked.

Anybody remember this quote from 2009?

A Democratic majority is emerging,” Carville declares. “This majority will guarantee that the Democrats remain in power for the next forty years.” - See more at: https://www.progressive.org/adler0609.html#sthash.g6aM3Bc3.dpuf
