Are There ANY Good Movies That You've Seen?

Maybe it's just me, but I haven't seen a good movie in a long long time. Even previewing the movie trailers I see none of them that I would want to rent when they go to DVD. I haven't been to the movies at a theater in years. Last one I went to was when Harrah's Rincon comped me a show at the Edwards Cinema in San Marcos. Any suggestions?
teechur and DonDiego took in The Avengers last week. It's well done if one likes that sort of thing, . . . better than DonDiego expected, but he hadn't expected much.

Last year in DonDiego's opinion pr'bly the best he saw was Rango. DonDiego loves cowboy-pictures.

The next movie DonDiego expects to like is Abe Lincoln: Vampire Slayer, due out on 22 June. DonDiego likes historical dramas too.

: : : : : EDITED TO ADD : : : : :

Oh! Oh! Wait!

DonDiego forgot. Prometheus is scheduled for release on 8 June! DonDiego really likes science fiction, . . . and Ridley Scott. This one should be great, . . . in the tradition of Alien.

And Skyfall, the next James Bond film, should be out on 9 November. DonDiego has taken a liking to the Daniel Craig series so far, . . . and he likes secret agent movies too, especially James Bond.
Just saw money ball and it was excellent. Other than that, nothing recently.

I liked Money Ball especially since it was based on a true story. I liked the end when he puts in the CD his daughter made and sings him that song.

Red Tails
Another vote for Money Ball, loved it. One that has not been mentioned is War Horse, EXCELLENT! Both my the men in my life loved it too.
I did see War Horse, but it didn't make me cry at the end like they said it would.

You didn't cry. You Sir must be tougher than nails. Lol

I saw Men In Black 3 yesterday and had 4 pints of a good IPAD. I enjoyed it. It had a slight twist at the end which almost put a tear in my eye (Will Smith's childhood character).
Hunger Games.

We have found that cable shows such as Game of Thrones, True Blood, Magic City, Homeland and Boardwalk Empire to be far superior to any movies.
I saw the Chernobyl Diaries this weekend. Do yourself a favor - hand the ticket cashier 10 bucks, have him kick you in the nuts, and call it even. You'll save 2 precious hours of your life.
