Ballys

The location is the best attribute. They frequently have good sales - but that usually means you end up in a lesser room. Their upgraded rooms cost about as much as the Mirage but are not quite as nice IMO.

As far as gambling - I normally dont gamble much on the strip - but I found $5 craps tables at Bally's on my last visit - it was fairly late too...like 7pm-ish. Most casinos raise limits by then. That was a fun 45 minutes.
I also am a fan of Ballys. Great location, connected to Paris, nice large North Tower rooms, and not so big that you get lost. The crappy south tower rooms have fabulous strip views.
Of course I do treegirl. That's what makes this site interesting. I like to share my experiences no matter what they are...good or bad!

I think you missed my point.

I stayed at Bally's last fall in the North tower and totally enjoyed it. No..it is not posh....but it is do-able. My main complaint was that the mattresses were low to the ground and needed to be upgraded. I had great luck in their casino and came out ahead. I also enjoyed their small Mexican restaurant.
Awesome Mango Margarita's!!!

I didn't.

I stayed there a couple of years ago. Our room was quite nice, it faced the Bellagio fountains, as per my request, and it was nice to see them from up high. I didn't realize until that night, that everytime the water cannons shoot up the water, I would get an echo and it sounded like someone was shooting at us. LOL But it was my vacation, and all is good when I am on vacation, so I enjoyed it. Life is what you make of it.
