The better we know Tim Tebow...

Maybe TT has decided he's just an athletic supporter.....
At this critical juncture in his career, he needs to understand that he is a commodity. Not only does he need to win games, he also needs to project a certain image, so that people want to see him win.

Most experts agree that his throwing motion is FUBAR. So he gives an interview stating that he needs to work on his footwork. He goes 7-4 and then wins his first playoff game, and yet the Broncos run him out of town. He needs to understand that he is not in Kansas anymore, he needs to stop alienating people, and he needs to hire someone, like maybe Tony Dungy, to help him.
I'd say that Tebow is doing just fine the image department. Maybe Vick could use some help from Dungy but I think Vick is too far gone down the alienated road.

DonDiego recently purchased a custom Philadelphia Eagles Jersey in the gorgeous green worn during the Eagles' glory year of 1960. (DonDiego seldom spends funds from his meagre pension so extravagantly, but because Nike was just awarded the NFL Jersey contract the subject Reebok jersey was on sale at less than ½-price.)

DonDiego wanted Chuck Bednarik's name and number, 60, on the jersey, but there's some sorta contract restriction that doesn't permit use of the "Bednarik" name or, for that matter, "Ron Mexico" either. So DonDiego put his own name on the jersey, . . . but he did get number 60!

P.S. If one visits one's preferred team's online jersey store, one might find similar out-of-production Reebok jerseys similarly discounted.

Oh, now I get it, the trade was part of a plan to sell jerseys. It all makes sense now, and Tebow can go on giving interviews using the words "I, me, and mine," and not the word "Jets."

mrmarcus- only you could figure out this plan. But then again, not many people are so equipped mentally to do so.
The moral to this thread is not to turn Marcus down for an autograph (no matter how weird he looks) or he will cyberstalk you for eternity
No, the moral is don't be as dumb as Tim Tebow.

He was given a chance that a lot of people don't think he deserved. He did well, going 7-4 in the regular season and winning his first playoff game. Then he was FIRED.

He now has a new job, that pays well, but gives stupid interviews in which he talks about himself and his glory days at UF, like a guy who just got married but chooses to talk about his exes. And he loudly proclaims that the great players at his position aren't "necessarily super-athletic."

In other words, don't be that dumbf---- who keeps stepping on the rake so it pops up and hits him in the face.
