Bills/Barbary Coast R.I.P. : (

Gonna miss Bills/Barbary when it closes. Had many good times in thier lounge enjoying Bands at night and Fat Elvis and Cook E Jarr shows during the day. Always ended up at the Victoria Room for Graveyard Breakfast special after a long nite of partying at least once a trip. I liked the old vegas look of the ceilings."Oh the times they are changin" BD

Is the Barbary/Bill's actually closing or is it changing into some other themed harrah's property?

November 29, 2012 09:41 Bill's Closure Update: We reported a couple of months back that Caesars Ent. had big plans for a remodel of Bill's Gamblin' Hall & Saloon, including the addition of a rooftop nightclub, with pool. Now comes the update, and apparently the refit will be so extensive that it will necessitate the closure of the center-Strip casino on February 4 to accommodate the $185 remodel that will also see a total remodel of the hotel component and all common areas, plus the addition of a new restaurant. It's likely to remain shuttered for at least a year, and will re-emerge in 2014 with a new name, too

I will definitely be there before the closure. Agree that I will miss the place...
