Breaking news - two bombs go off at Boston Marathon finish. At least two dead

The interviews from friends, associates, teammates and coaches, whereby they claim the two brothers were good people, are getting monotonous.

They obviously were not good people. Good people don't kill innocent civilians and try to hurt and maim as many other people as possible. Good people don't shoot a policeman in his car and kill him. Good people don't pull armed robberies or carjackings.

Agreed. It wasn't good people who bombed the King David Hotel in Jerusalem in an effort to further Israeli independence. It wasn't good people who killed hundreds in Northern Ireland, or who helped the IRA in their efforts to do so.

But some people (not anyone here so far), make excuses for causes they favor.

On one level these stories humanize the murdering scum. On the other, they show how hard it is to predict who the terrorists are amongst our midst.
After stand down, shots fired. It looks like they have them trapped, in a boat in the back yard of someone. They don't know what explosives he has.

Crazy dad is flying from Russia to US saying he is going to get justice.

Don't know if suspect is shot or not?

Cambridge-
The ultra-leftist, sodomite loving, gun grabbing heart of anti-American America.
Cambridge-the home of Noam Chomsky and Howard Zinn
Cambridge-the east coast answer to Berkley, Madison and San Fransicko.
Cambridge-the place that spawned these terrorists.
Big surprise

Regardless, here's a proposition I'd be glad to bet on: the bombing was not carried out by an agnostic or atheist.
That's not cool. Let's not start associating this with an act of a religious person on the basis of zero facts.

Yes, time may prove your guess right, just as you may be right if you also guess that the name of the bomber's cat starts with a consonant. But these are just guesses, and there's no good reason to antagonize each other based on belief.

We agree on a lot, but not that.

I'm also seeing people try to pin this on Tea Party people: It's Boston, it's Tax Day, Patriot's Day too. Just like early reports assigned blame for the Oklahoma City bombing on Iran.

Let's step back and not start smearing people based on nothing.

Let the smearing begin.
Virtually all* modern terrorism has been conducted by men who were religious nuts. There, I didn't smear religious people. Or men for that matter.

*Edited to correct massive overstatement by me. I should have written "the vast majority" instead. I regret the error.

The truth-ALL, not virtually all, of the major muderers of the last 200 years have been atheistic socialists-Stalin, Mao, Hitler, Robespierre, Pol Pot, Ceacescu, Ho, Castro and the North Korean "scientific socialist state" being just a few of the many many examples.
Like the (overwhelmingly black) followers of Jim Jones (another atheist/socialist who willed all his belongings to the Soviet Union) the American Left are sheep who LOVE to drink the kool-aid.
Bah
Bah

The man that police believe is responsible for placing the bombs that struck the Boston Marathon on Monday, killing 3 and injuring more than 170, is in custody after a standoff lasting nearly two hours in Watertown.

Dzhokhar A. Tsarnaev, 19, was taken into custody shortly before 8:45 p.m.

“They got him. He’s in custody,” a state trooper told the media gathered in the neighborhood. A crowd of onlookers broke into applause.
The Boston PD tweeted a poem:

CAPTURED!!! The hunt is over. The search is done. The terror is over. And justice has won. Suspect in custody.

Osama bil Laden was an athiest? Who knew?

And I was referring to terrorists, not mass murders. There is a difference, and some of us appreciate how Mr. Webster provided us different words for different stuff.
