Center strip hotel and pool questions

I've spent considerable time since I posted my question doing research. That includes reading your comments, Yelp comments, Tripadvisor comments, and looking at costs

I'm finding that the killer for Caesars is that comparable suite cost to be outside of our budget. The Mirage 2 BR Tower suite that I'm considering is running $2200 (including fees and tax) for three nights. A similar Caesars suite makes that look cheap.

Other thoughts are still appreciated.

Doesn't Casino Royale have a Best Western Hotel in the building?

The pool did not look great --- but they have suites for $229 per night!

Rated in the top 70 of Vegas Hotels!

Ive stayed in the Mirage penthouse and it was amazing. The only gripe i had was the tube TV. Kinda funny considering how elegant everything else was. The view is crazy awesome!

I was a little out of place. I was walking around in jeans and a hockey jersey. Got some pretty interesting looks from the hoitie toities on the private elevator that goes to the suite floors
The Wynn is a top tier hotel & if you sign their guestbook you can get some decent offers.

For any of the hotels that you have considered have you called group sales for a group rate?

Do that mean what poor old DonDiego thinks it means?

It does and it doesn't. It means Double D will go with grand expectations because it is what he thinks it means, only to be dissapointed that many are not as spectacular as Double D was hoping for.
The only DD at the pools will be Don Diego
Of course I'm talking about shaving versus natural, (underarms and elsewhere), I'm not quite sure what Double D may be thinking about.
Yes, the Casino Royale does offer two sizes of suites. I've stayed at this hotel many times, putting me at risk of being called a loser. Actually, I lose more often than not when playing black jack, so the more I think about it, the term "loser" is accurate.

While I love the Casino Royale, the pool leaves something to be desire. We've decided that we want one pool day, so it won't be at the Royale.

Thank you for the thought.
