Christmas Tree Poll

Tough room.
Last year when it was time for Faye to put up one of her magnificent Xmas trees, she just wasn't up to it, so when our dog sitter returned from Chicago in November, he set up a small tree on the dining room table that had small figurines on the platform surrounding the tree. Well, months later he returned to Chicago and returned this October. All this time the tree was sitting on the dining room table. I had never seen the tree before, and had no idea where it came from as Faye only had large artificial trees that she decorated. The joke of it was that just as the tree had mysteriously appeared, it disappeared just in time for Thanksgiving.

Unless the tree magically reappears in the next week or so, I guess we aren't going to have a tree this year.
HUH ????? ?????

Quit trying to change the subject.

You never told us whether the mouse droppings are real or artificial, and whether you call them "mouse droppings" or "holiday nuggets."

Artificial. We have several.
Artificial all the way!!!! Grew up with artificial trees, including that tacky aluminum one with the color wheel!!!!! When I had a home of my own, had a very difficult time choosing a real tree, they all look so uneven and sparse in spots, not to mention the tree sap and the needles all over the place. After trying a real tree for a couple of years, we went and bought a beautiful artificial one.

the one we have now, we have owned for about 5 years, and it's been worth every cent we paid for it.
Real trees are too fat. A tall skinny artificial tree works best in my house.

Plus one. Pick a color.
We always get a real tree. Years ago, we used to grown them (Christmas trees). It's fun picking out a different one every year. We used to always get a Balsam, but for the last several years we've been getting a Frasier Fir. Kinda pricey, but a beautiful, soft tree that doesn't cause any allergic reactions as have trees previously. Here's a photo of a Frasier...

Thanks for reminding me GreenSideUp.... as a kid in the 60/70s we had an Aluminum tree with the 4 color spot light that made it rotate through the colors... Kind of cool to watch from an outside window.
