You know the sad thing is that these places probably produce roasted chicken that is out of this world. I regularly eat chicken (along with fish) and can't bring myself to order it when I go to a nice restaurant. I usually want steak, veil, or lamb.
HA! I know what you mean, I never ever consider ordering chicken let alone pork chops when evr we go to a restaurant, its always beef for me. Nothing better than a big ol' slab of prime rib or a nice thick fillet all cooked med. rare so nice and red, mmm..yummy.
It's interesting because I do like chicken and pork, eat a lot of it at home. A coupla months I had a big pork tenderloin and felt really lazy about cooking that night so I wrapped the loin in foil with a jar of plum sauce(bought in the chinese section of grocery store) with some garlic, ginger and a coupla scallions and roasting in the foil for 30 mins or so, unwrapped and broiled to put a glaze on it and it turned phenomenal for a lazy mans dinner. It's now on my "lazy cooking list" and have made it a few times since, wife and son really dig it.
