Cubs lose to San Francisco - Obama to Blame

In response to the implementation of Obamacare the Chicago Cubs reorganized their game-day staffing requirements to limit the seasonal workers to less than 130 hours per month. As a result when a rainstorm hit Wrigley Field during a night game on 19 August the understaffed Tarp Crew was unable to properly cover the infield. The game was called after 4½ innings, and the Cubs, leading by a score of 2-0, were declared the winner.

The San Francisco Giants protested. This was the ninth protest filed by a team in the past decade; the first eight had all been denied.
The Giants won the protest.

So, on Thursday evening, 21 August, the game resumed, . . . and "Buster Posey went 4 for 4 with his 14th homer, leading Madison Bumgarner and the San Francisco Giants to a 5-3 victory over the Chicago Cubs on Thursday night."

Thanks, Obama !

DonDiego is curious.
Does anyone know how the result of this incident affected the Las Vegas Sportsbooks? Were Cubs bettors paid prematurely, after the game was called on Tuesday? Were Giants bettors paid after Thursday's result?
Obama is supposedly a White Sox fan. The Cubs really don't need much help losing games.
I thought TARP was Bush's doing
Most Liberals claim that Obamacare doesn't push companies to move full time employees to part time status. I knew this would happen. Liberals are now whining that their policies are causing employees to lose money.

Being partial to the Giants, I say "Thanks Obama."
Well, ain't this an example of penny-wise and pound-foolish. By saving a few dollars on benefits, it cost the Cubs a win. Meanwhile they spend $70 million on player salaries. Just doesn't make sense to pay for talent and then scrimp on the little things and cost yourself a game.
I think Obamacare might lead Boilerman and DonDiego to a premature stroke. Lets hope not! Life is so much more fun with their disingenuous, hyperbolic commentary.

A team that profits over 30 million annually cant afford Obamacare for its lowest level employees? Of course not! Then they would only make 29.5 million a year! Those poor, poor millionaires and their oppressed life under dictator Obama. I'll say a prayer for them tonight.

(PS - our much less profitable, minor-league team in Indianapolis must be coping with the new system. I'm pretty sure they can beat the Cubs ...plus you can get hot dogs for $1 on Mondays. )
Certainly the Cubs can afford to pay for insurance. The point is, however, that the Cubs don't have to pay for insurance and because of the law the employees are now part time. Whining doesn't change the facts.

Nice job, Obama.

Facts are facts, and once again pj exhibits what a low IQ he possesses as he MSNBC's it.
