Dancer's Column "May 7th"

Really?

May I suggest this installment of the Bob Dancer 'Video Poker Column', be renamed to "I left my wife because she is chronically ill and can't dance anymore" OR 'Better watch out Bonnie'.
I can see Singer having a field day with this on Money LA's board. He must not have loved her that much if he would not quit his job for her.

I guess he forgot about the words till death do you apart when he got married.

Perhaps you can point me to the part of the column where it says that Dancer left his wife. I can't seem to find it.

I know you're Dancer fluffer but he wrote in the first paragraph. Sorry if ALII's paraphrase was too blunt for your hero.

Shirley and I are no longer married. We divorced five months ago, due primarily to her health. She has severe COPD (a lung disorder) and couldn't be around anyone who had contact with first- or second-hand smoke. While I'm not a smoker, I spend a lot of time in casinos and even showering immediately after I came home wasn't good enough. According to Shirley, my pores reeked of cigarette smoke. To stay with her, I would have needed to give up casinos entirely and move away from Las Vegas. Given my vocation, I found this to be a difficult dilemma. Even though I was extremely reluctant to do this, with all factors considered, it seemed best for both of us that we go our separate ways.

Sorry, still can't find it.

I'm sure you don't mean to claim that "it seemed best for both of us that we go our separate ways" equals "I left my wife," because I don't want to think of you as being that dishonest. So please clarify. Thanks!

You must be a little dense then.

1. He claims Shirley's Medical condition would have required him to give up Casino Gambling because the smell won't wash off. BS#1.

2. Next he claims her medical condition prevents her from dancing....and dancing is obviously more important than his wife of 17 years.. BS#2

3. Then he claims after his December Divorce he started an Advanced Dancing Class....NOT for himself mind you....But in hopes his wife would miraculously recover from her chronic condition, reconcile with him and be hot to learn the latest dance steps. Third Strike.

The entire article is designed to garner sympathy. Poor Dancer. He had to give up his ill wife...because he couldn't give up Gambling or Dancing. I say Poor Bonnie.

"We had to go our separate ways" BECAUSE SHE IS SICK and HE can't fathom a life without Casinos and Dancing. He's a scumbag...Is that clear enough for you?
