Dear Harrah's, Ceasars', or what ever you want to be called this week.

Has anyone stayed in the Nobu tower at Caesars? I noticed that I can get comped rooms in that tower, not sure if it's better than the Augustus, or the other newer one (don't know the name)?

I'm comped at all Caesars and MGM properties, but I still perfer Paris just for it's location and ease of getting to the strip and other casinos. I've stayed at Aria quite a few times and while the rooms are super nice, I can't handle the cluster F of walking through Crystals to get out to the strip.

I thought you were more of an Imperial Palace type of gal.

Stayed at Harrahs Las Vegas, Mardi Gras tower last week for 3 days comped through their website.

They charged $15 per night "Resort Fee" even after showing them my reservation email reflecting total charges to be -0- because the small print said "additional charges may be applied at the hotel.

I think I saw in some review that the Nobu standard rooms are something like 350 sq feet. They look pretty and all, but I don't like a tiny hotel room.

I am leaving Caesars Palace for Planet Hollywood next week. They sent me a $300 freeplay offer that includes a stay at any of their hotels EXCEPT caesars. SO off to PHo I go. I supposedly have a Strip Suite.

Does Stations charge resort fees? I forgot already. I know the Silverton started those fees, but not if you're comped!

I agree, I like bigger rooms too, more space to scatter my crap around.

I've noticed they have really started kicking down the free play, which they needed to do to keep up with MGM. My last trip they gave me $500 at Paris.

Well said!!! I totally agree. This will probably be my last visit to Vegas because of those ridiculous fees. Like you, I don't use the gym & very seldom use the pool. Luckily we booked prior to March 1 to avoid the fees. Their comment their customers requested them is the most stupid thing I ever heard. Who wants to pay for something you don't use. I would rather see those extras like an a la cart menu, if I want to use the pool, gym, etc charge me a small fee the day I want to use it. I live in PA so I guess I will be staying closer to home & be visiting our casinos & Atlantic City more often & spend much less money.
