He said last year he was going to reduce his salary by 5%. His income tax return shows no change from last year. No bias, just facts

The President didn't say that he'd cut his salary by 5 precent from $400,000 to $380,000. He said he'd take 5 percent of his pay and donate it back to the Treasury.

Press Secretary Jay Carney says he "believes" the President did just that, but that he'll check for certain. Of course, this President's critics have never been patient about waiting for facts to arrive before reaching their conclusions.

So you want us to believe he was paid his full salary, paid the taxes on the 20k & then wrote a check for 20k? Wouldn't be easier to take a 5% cut?
