Did President Obama break another promise?

All this bickering between conservative sensibilities and liberal nut jobs.......who really cares? Or, in the immortal words of the absent-minded wife of the only president who was impeached for LYING about getting a blow job under the Oval Office DesK!!: "What difference does it make at this point?"

We already know and have solid proof that Obama will go down in history as a failed experiment. All his inner-city thug supporters, his chemically imbalanced gay audience, and the nation's unemployed potheads, will forever claim the guy a hero. But luckily, that is not what runs this country, what it was founded upon, and what will lead it into the future. He's a proven liar over and over again. So what; blacks lie. What I'm looking forward to is how he and his foolish wife will get humiliated by history repeatedly, and how those he thinks support his policies will distance themselves from this imposter. It'll be epic.

Sometimes, the good nature of most of this President's supporters allows them to forget that much of the hatred we see of President Obama is due solely to his dark skin.

Posts like the one above are good at reminding us that a lot of conservatives hate our President because he's not white.

The President didn't say that he'd cut his salary by 5 precent from $400,000 to $380,000. He said he'd take 5 percent of his pay and donate it back to the Treasury.

Press Secretary Jay Carney says he "believes" the President did just that, but that he'll check for certain. Of course, this President's critics have never been patient about waiting for facts to arrive before reaching their conclusions.

Sorry, Mr. President, but you won't get any apologies here.

If I get to start selecting things for you to start believing, I'd begin with the earth being round, then the sun rising in the east, and maybe if I think you're up for it move on to fire being hot.

The mind of an American right-wing kook believes what it wants to believe, facts and logic be damned.

OK, . . . but did President Obama break a promise "to take a 5 percent pay cut in 'solidarity' with federal employees who were furloughed as a result of the automatic budget cuts, known as the sequester" ?

Almost 60% of the people don't approve of the job he is doing as president, race has nothing to do with it. When will he comment on the fiasco at the VA?

Nonetheless, President Obama already has commented on the problems at the VA:
"It's not enough to lay a wreath on Memorial Day, or to make a speech on Veteran's Day. When a veteran is denied health care, we are all dishonored. When 400,000 veterans are stuck on a waiting list for claims, we need a new sense of urgency in this country . . .
As President, I won't stand for hundreds of thousands of veterans waiting for benefits. We'll hire additional claims workers. Like you, I don't know. I hope he didn't, that'd be disappointing. He's a wealthy man and will make a crapton of money after he leaves office, so I hope he didn't forget to toss 5% of his FY13 salary back.

But to the extent that the terrible track record of people trying to gin up scandals against him matters, it's very likely he's also not guilty of this newest perceived offense.

As I always do with the crazy smears thrown at him by his haters, I'll distinguish myself here by waiting for actual facts to arrive.
