I had no luck with an indoor antenna and I tried 4 different types. When I switched to an outdoor rooftop antenna I bought at Walmart for $40 or $50, I got great reception. Great channels ME TV, ION, COZI TV. About 25-30 English speaking that I would watch.

I was 30 miles from the Dallas Fort Worth towers and the antenna was rated for 30 miles.

Call the cable company and renegotiate. People do it all the time.

HA! Probably an intro rate and for 4 channels of something decnt and 98 channels of shopping networks. We pay about 90 bucks a month and that's no HBO or any premiums. We do get the Sunday ticket(which is the only reason we have it) that's 200 bucks a year. Wait a little bit and directv might start running the promo for free Sun. ticket for new sign ups, they have the last few years, it'll save ya a couple hundred if so.
