DONUTS!

I've been to casinos all over Nevada (even Wendover), NJ, Maine, CT, RI, Florida, Italy, Russia and Finland and something I have seen in one, and only one casino, is the passing out of free donuts in the morning. Every morning.
That casino is of course the lovely Atlantis in Reno.
Any more?

Umm, . . . yes, . . . yes they do.

In fact, Arnold's Bakery and Coffee Shop, the Finnish 2011 Franchise Chain of the Year, offers cake, jammy, and creme varieties. And Hanna Sirniö from Zeppelin in Kempele won The Golden Donut prize for Arnolds’ Entrepreneur of the Year 2011!

And here's a recipe for Suomalaiset Munkit snidely333 can try at home.

Shut it down. This thread is finnished.

They used to pass out donuts every Wednesday morning to the seniors at the Casino Queen
in East St. Louis. Some of the slobs would grab half a dozen at a time. Got to the point they had a shoving match between a few of them. After that, they cut it down to where they could only get one or two. You should have heard the bitching then.

Customers were getting too fat and lazy to even show up. Plus the cops moved in and raided the joint.
Speaking of Donuts in Vegas, it doesn't seem like the Krispy Creme craze is still going as strong as it once was. I noticed that they still have one at Excalibur but they took out the donut making operation. I also seemed to recall there was one with a kitchen at the Venetian. Is it still there?
Oh man, Krispy Kremes are the real deal. Whenever that 'hot doughnuts' light is on, those are absolutely the best.I'm not a sweets eater but were visiting freinds down around Richmond and were out partying with them one night, drinking margaritas and dancing having a good time. On the way home we were passing a KK with the light on and swung in there immediately. I had barely heard of KK let alone try one. I ended up eating two in the car and about 3-4 when we got back to thier place. I've been hooked ever since. Unfortunately we don't have a store close to where we live, have to settle for gettin' 'em at the grocery store(BTW, delivery's are T,TH,and Sat. at my store ), have to 'em fresh as possible.

I remember when KK IPO'd, the stock price went nuts, well I thought so anyway for a donut store. Then again just about every IPO around that time was going nuts There are some hard core KK donut eaters tho.
Krispy Kreme in based just down the road in Winston-Salem, NC. Big operation but stores are not on every corner. Dunkin' Donuts has about as many stores around now. But still nothing like getting a Hot fresh KK glazed ring right off the assembly line. Yummy!
