my favorite time of the year. North Carolina mountains will start to turn in a few weeks, can't wait to drop the top and cruise the Blue Ridge Parkway.
I did a Northeast cruise that started in early October last year and finished around mid month. It sailed from New York, went up the coast and came back down in Canada.
I really didn't see the fall colors until we got into Canada.
I had to do business in Cambridge one year and went in early November. The day was crystal clear and you could see the fall colors and the various church steeples from a third floor window. It was breathtaking.
Yup, that's why I Love living in New England. The trees around here have started to turn so, within a week it'll be gorgeous. All you need to have a successful fall is a few cool nights, which we have had recently. I think this is going to be a great autumn.
