The religion with the most impact in the last 20 years has been radical Islam, powered in part by the dim-bulb Americans who turn all of their lights on.

So, you don't like the technological achievement that has bettered our lives significantly. Typical watermelon.
That energy conservation is a national security issue has been agreed to by the last three Republican and Democratic presidential nominees (at least), so it's not exactly a controversial issue. And I love technology, especially the results of our federal government's investment in DARPA.

And I'm not a fan of symbolic crap like turning your lights off, or for that matter, marching and demonstrating. Mostly, I find those things ineffectual and silly.

But turning on all your lights is just infantile.

Maybe you should hug a few; you might be less bitchy.

For those who may be somewhat fuzzy, so to speak, on the meaning of "DARPA", I shall now demonstrate proper usage in a sentence:

If Nesalk don't straighten up real quick, treegirl's gonna knock him on his DARPA.

There is no straightin up for that loser. (but I have no doubt his ass would be kicked) lol

Me? No bitchiness here. Just responded to an asshole who had his facts wrong then tries to cover it up with a pitiful attempt at a joke.

No, it's a statement. When all we get out of the media is silly propaganda repeated constantly then some of us need to point out the hypocrisy and outright lies that are being used to an end. If you're too stupid to understand what's going on I can't help you.

arshaleign [AKA forkush] and DonDiego agree on something.

DonDiego is especially thrilled with DARPA's [Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency] work in ensuring the military adoption of the Colt AR-15 as its primary assault weapon. It is the model for most civilian rifles suitable for personal defense use in close quarters.

Oh, and DARPA invented the internets, contrary to claims otherwise. A Defense Agency invented the internets!
