"And no, the umpires don't necessarily have to be racist, they just have to live in America. It comes with the territory. "

See? Exactly my point again. Judge, jury, and executioner. More of the "all knowing, all judging..etc. etc.". God, it must feel good to know so many absolutes.Racist calls in baseball?, by a margin of 10%!? So for example, Japanese umpires would call these differently? This is getting pretty comical.
Calm down, I'll try to clear it up for you.

1. Black MLB pitchers didn't get the benefit of extra called strikes the way white pitchers did in 2008 and 2009, according to a study published in a peer reviewed journal. (see above)

2. I don't believe the umpires are racist.

3. My guess is the bias comes from living in the US, in other words, living around too many people like Boilerman and jatki.

Is that better?

And there ya have it again, must feel good to have such an enormous ego and to be so judgemental. I guess.

Well first let me say I am WASP. When I worked at Sears Warehouse the blacks overall were the better workers. When it came to delivery I almost always got back on time when I worked with a black person. The white guys tended to milk it because they wanted the overtime.

In the warehouse they could fly on the lift trucks compared to us whiteys. I remember vividly at the end of just about everyday they would be pissed of because they would be done pulling their orders and they would have to come over and bail out the white guys because they were behind.

This is all based upon my own personal observation with no scientific study to back it up.

In the fire service it really didn't matter if you were red, yellow, green, black or white, we all were true pros and everyone measured up or you never made it off of probation, after all lives are at stake. Also the odds of promotion were so great everyone tried to excel.

Now would this be considered a form of racism then? After all it is making an observation based on skin color is it not?

BTW No bust on you at all TUT, just making a point.
Would saying most asian people can't drive worth a shit be racist?
PJ, I don’t believe that you’re addressing the most important issue....”How does America elevate the black race?” Do we continue to give blacks a pass because of some unknown slave from 200 years ago? We've been working that plan for many decades and black folks are not moving up the ranks. Are there more or fewer poor black folks? Are there more or fewer black kids having children out of wedlock? Are there more or fewer black men going to jail? Are there more of fewer black kids dropping out of school? Most Liberals on this site don't understand my stance and certainly my desires.

Excusing poor performance for any group leads to further poor performance and ongoing poverty. Forkie and Chilly...............you have no idea what’s in my heart.

PJ, I have spoken with Dom many times about the problems within the black community, and we have a similar opinion of the problem. Some on this site will call my black friend a white man, yet he’s as dark as the night. Again Forkie and Chilly, you have no idea.

You again assume incorrectly. Facts are facts, however. Watch................ Forkie will not answer this questions. Which group does best in school? Asians, whites or blacks? Ignoring the facts don't change the facts.

Dodging again, I see. Nope, my black buddy whom I'll be cooking out with tomorrow is of great character...
I'm sure you regard him as an exception, right?

Meanwhile - as a group - you regard blacks as tending to being shiftless, uppity, and criminal. Or have I misunderstood what you've said here?
