Favorite mob movie?

I saw on Yahoo where they have a poll asking if Goodfellas is the all time mob film, because Henry Hill just passed.

While I love Goodfellas, Godfather and Godfather Part 2 are still 1 and 1a on my list.

Goodfellas probably comes next.

I also loved Casino, Donny Brasco, Scarface, and Pulp Fiction.

Scarface just for the pure use of the "F"- word. Hell, one can get polluted if they take a drink every time someone says F this or F that.

Godfather ALL of them, the horses head in the bed, classic. Brando was just unreal, his finest performance.

Goodfellas, F'ing great!

Casino, listening to my late uncle talk about these guys was the best.
If I had to pick one it would be The Departed.
No one isn't going to tell me that the GODFATHER 1 AND 2 isn't the best mob movie out there. First of all, it was based on fact, and although the names were changed, it was still fact. Leave the gun....take the canolis!

Goodfellas - Pesci played his character perfectly. Psychotic, ruthless, did I mention psychotic ?

Godfather, Part 1 - All time classic.

Casino - Did not really care for all the domestic squabbles with Sharon Stone's character, but once again, Pesci played the part of Tony "the ant" Spilotro to a tee ! And Tony 'the ant" ended up in a sandy hole not 20 miles away from me. Also enjoyed the vintage Vegas setting of the movie.

Couple honorable mentions to some comedic sendups:

Analyze This & Mickey Blue Eyes. Poking a bit of fun at the whole "mob" genre.
The Public Enemy

Two.
Las Vegas 1976. Movie about how the mob made sure that the paytables were reasonable, everyone dressed up for shows and was courteous and polite... and oh yeah, there was NO crime anywhere on the streets and food and booze was cheap.
Oh shit, sorry ... that wasn't a movie....that was actually how it was!!!

I would agree with RM, but I would also add in The Departed

Although not a movie the Sopranos deserves honorable mention

I didn't mention the Sopranos because it wasn't a movie. When the Sopranos dealt with organized crime, it was one of the best. Some of the dream and fantasy sequences actually hurt the show.
