Filipina's moving to Vegas

The Filipina population has grown to 125,000 in the Las Vegas area in the last 10 years. Now with the Typhoon , destruction , and damage it has cause in the Philippines, many more are expected to arrive.
I think this will boost the Las Vegas economy, and fill up all the homes that were foreclosed.

This comes at a good time as the former Imperial Palace with new name in the works (not the Quad )will hire alot of them, and make the strip a booming place for the visitors once again.

I don't understand. The typhoon hit a poor city in the far southern part of the country. These people have nothing close to the resources it would take to move to the US. Or are they coming in through Mexico after first attending classes there on how to bilk the system like all illegal aliens do? Besides, isn't there enough of them little mosquitos already in that town?

Okay, I don't usually respond to most people's posts, no matter how obnoxious they get. But as the daughter of Filipino immigrants, I seriously did not need to read your racist nonsense in the latter half of your post. Nothing can possibly be gained by such naked and sneering prejudice.

I believe all immigrants are welcome - as long as they work and support themselves. I live in a area with a huge Cambodian population, and they all work. And their kids all remain in school, study hard, and go to college to better themselves. It's just wonderful to watch people who came from such a poor country thrive in the USA by working for it!

And for the people in the Philippines, God bless you all. I cannot imagine losing family, and homes to such a devastating storm.

I wonder how many drug addicted skank whores in jail are Filipino?

I know a cocktail waitress in Vegas who is Filipino. Best, friendliest waitress I've ever encountered. Works harder than any other waitress I've ever seen in Vegas. If she's the standard for all Filipinos, Vegas will be a much better place when a large amount of Filipinos immegrate and join the Vegas working population.

Their countrymen will pay for them to immigrate to a better place. The same way my people made their way to America.
