Another reason to love the Flame.

At 12 our granddaughter was more adult than child.

That is just so wrong.
You should have said she was 14, and let them prove otherwise.

.......... and with a "totally empty" restaurant, they turned at least a $100 tab ????
Why turn down people with $$$ to spend? Isn't that why they are open, ........ to make money?
It's not one of those real posh, fancy, pricey places.
Heck they even have TVs on the walls.

You have to be an adult 18 or older. I wish all casino restaurants were like that.

Thanks for clarifying.

I can surely see the VERY nice high end places having that rule, but not in this case,
especially since the place was empty, and she was probably a mature 12, all dressed up nicely for dinner.

A 12 year old can probably behave and be okay, but where do you set an age limit?

I went to an Italian Restaurant the other night and the people in the next booth had a child at the end of the table in a hich chair. The child was probably three to four years old. She would pound her plate with her silverware and would let out high pitched screams about once a minute along with crying out loud.

It really ruined the atmosphere of the restaurant.

at times I've seen some loud, obnoxious adults that have been FAR worse than little kids.

I would probably agree with you on that.

Yeah, but you can slap the adults.
Most young kids would prefer to have a hot dog rather than a good steak.
Has El Cortez thought about leasing the space for an Asian massage business? I think it would be a good idea and not something you see at, say, Wynn or Caesars.
