Free for All -- I'm Impressed

I haven't spent time in here lately due to all the pollution. But I have to say I am impressed that no one initiated a political thread the last three days. Birds were chirping, angels singing, respectful conversations to be had. Keep up the good work, team!

Well there goes that. Forkie just shot the birds dead.
Do NOT try to put the blame on Forkie.

We all know it's Obama's fault!

So much for that

and Rizzo returned for a visit. Things looking up around here again.
Subsequently, someone posted:

i. a report on someone having his head removed by an ISIS member - pr'bly more anatomical than political.

ii. a report on McDonald's offering employee bonuses for good grades in school - more economical than political.

ii. an update on the spread of Ebola on the Dark Continent - more epidemiological than political.

Why do some folks call any discussion of current events "political" ?

Wait. What? Who said those threads are political? Why would you single out those instead of the overtly political threads on Page 1.

Because all of those topics reflect on the policies and decisions of Obama, or Bush, or Nixon, or Reagan, or ...... (well, you know who.) ???

Because some people are so consumed by their personal politics that they can't understand current events in any other context.
