When the political talk was banned there was absolutely no action here what so ever. You could go days and days without seeing any back and forth.
Lets face it many of us don't go to Vegas nearly as much as we used to, if at all, for many different reasons. There are just so many times you can discuss Video Poker, BJ etc. Also for many of us the "newness" of Las Vegas is long gone, there are too many other vacations that don't require basically an all day flight with a real hassle of the airlines just to get there. If I want to play double deck BJ I can drive 30 minutes now and get my fix. That wasn't the case in 1986.
Just let Anthony go back to Vegas only post on this thread and you will see more action watching paint dry.
As another poster stated if you are truly looking for Vegas talk try Trip Adviser, it is amazing how fast the pages fill up over there.
It's a real Catch 22. The reason for the reduced action was because many people had given up on the place, sick of all of the political bantering. I've conversed with dozens of people who have said this.
And really there are only 10 or so people who actively participate in the political one-upmanship.
