I feel the same way PJ, damn am I due or what! Have only had one straight flush and that was at the WYNN, years ago of course.
Seems a few years ago "Sionow, JustMare and They call me flip" would get several on a trip! That really made me jealous
2 of them no longer post here often. So, not real sure if the "odds" have kicked in on them or not?

The problem is there are more than a few people who are far from civil, and some of them troll beyond the political arena. This thread; "Provide a caption for this Pic", is a good example of how low people can go. For a while it was fine, (and as far as I'm concerned that includes even the digs at the politicians; they are fair game even though I may not agree with their sentiment). But along with that a few people couldn't help but make ad hominem attacks on other forum members. If I were King that kind of garbage would earn you an instant ticket to anywhere-else-but-here.

Political forums breed contempt, seemingly more now then they ever have before, and the ill will that festers within them frequently contaminates the entire forum. The only forums I know that have successfully avoided their pitfalls are the ones who have banned them.

I think a political section might help. But on the flip side, I can understand Anthony not wanting create that avenue when there are only 10 people or so on here who get excited about political threads.

Silly me I thought I’d had made great strides in toning it down. One of my friends on FB sent me that picture. FB allowed it so how bad can it be? Besides there is nothing is funnier than a bit of dog humor.

I was playing for about 10 years before I hit my first one on a 3-coin max bet quarter machine in Black Hawk. It was a progressive on the royal and I hit it for $968. It was another two years before I hit my second royal. I hit that one at Circus Circus Reno, another progressive for $1610. I've hit 8 more since then, including a progressive machine on a cruise to the Bahamas for $1838.00 the first night of the cruise (what a way to start a vacation!), and royals at the South Point Las Vegas both times I've stayed there.

For some,this their ONLY forum to VENT. Simple. They know who is on here and they know that you people will LISTEN.
Yeah,I have seen where the topic has been de railed,quite a few times. Some to the tune of a whole page of unrelated topics NOT about the LVA or even gaming,guys.
It's like TV: if you don't like the program,change the channel.
These forum members are INVITED to share their opinions about the reason this forum is offered.
We all have opinions and I want to hear ALL of them,but not all of them is in my area of interest.
Pick what you want to discuss and then talk about it.
But please do not go off topic.
I'm guilty of this as well.
