Georgia may be #3, but we are trying

I rebutted your claim of hypocrisy by pointing out that the high % of African-Americans in the South is the overwhelming reason why the std rate is higher there. You can clearly see the high correlation in the link below and the link in the original post. Sorry I rained on your liberal parade.

I found--and find-- the juxtaposition of proclaimed religious belief and high incidents of stds to be curious. No one mentioned racial issues, political philosophy, or political parties-- oh, except you; but then, no one on this "Las Vegas" site would be surprised by your racial obsession. Sorry to hail on your racial preoccupation.
Blah blah blah............dude. How about proof to back up your statement that all poor folks are created equal.

Dude, you suspect every black person walking down the street, which is why you advocate police profiling based on skin color, right? It must be terrifying to live inside your skin.

And do you remember how esteskefauver described what he does when he arrives home? - driving around the block a few times and spinning around to make sure the coast is clear. That's how you enter Fallujah, not your own home.

But I guess racial racial panic means never having to say your brave.

Meanwhile, there's conclusive evidence that abstinence sex education, just like baby jesus prescribed, leads to a higher incidence of STDs - and teen pregnancies.

PJ and Forkie, please view this data and begin the spin.

Sorry to disappoint you, but it's not the Southern churchgoers who are contracting and spreading stds. The reason the incidence of stds are so great in the South is because of the higher African-American population %there. AAs get chlamydia 8x more often than whites...
You mean that poor people, with less access to healthcare and prophylactics, are more likely to contract STDs and less likely to get them diagnosed and treated? Alert the media!

And of course children victimized by abstinence only sex education are more likely to contract sexually transmitted diseases. So the ignorant bible thumpers, both black and white, are adding to the problem.

Washington, DC is the #1 city for stds. Their comprehensive sex education progam you advocate has worked very well there.

You've overtaken Harry Reid for the biggest lie of the day. He said of Sheldon Adelson's political contributions, "He's not in it for the money, unlike the Koch Brothers." I said I don't pull in my driveway if a car is behind me I don't recognize. It happens about once every 2 or 3 months and takes an extra 5 minutes. I bet this guy's family wishes he would have been more aware of his surroundings. It might have saved his life.

Just because it's so...damn...funny. The MSNBC crew laughing at the gall of Harry Reid.

So wait. You're saying that because you "suspect" something, it's now my job to disprove your suspicion? You should have stuck with "blah blah blah."
Hmm, . . . whoulda thunk it? Somebody's already done the research.

_______quote
__Results
Black men report the highest sexual risk and STDs at each wave and across waves. Relative to white peers, Black and Latino men have higher odds of (1) maintaining high sexual risk and (2) increasing sexual risk over time. Both sexual risk behaviors and race-ethnicity predict STD outcomes. Race-ethnic disparities in STDs remain after controlling for sociodemographic variables. Further, disparities also persist when level of risky sexual behavior is controlled.
__Conclusions
Race-ethnicity continues to differentiate black and Latino young men from white peers in terms of STDs. Development of HIV/STD prevention programs targeting different racial-ethnic subgroups of adolescent men and addressing both individual- and contextual-level factors are needed to curb STD spread.

___Results
Overall, sexual-minority women in each racial or ethnic group had a higher prevalence of sexual risk behaviors-including a history of multiple partners, forced sex and incarceration-than their heterosexual counterparts. Mixed-oriented women in each racial or ethnic group were more likely than heterosexual white women to have received an STD diagnosis (odds ratios, 1.8-6.4). Black men and sexual-minority men also appeared to be at heightened risk. Gay men in all racial and ethnic groups were significantly more likely than heterosexual white men to report having received an STD diagnosis (2.3-8.3); compared with heterosexual white men, mixed-oriented black men had the highest odds of having received such a diagnosis (15.2).
___Conclusions
Taking account of multiple minority identities should be an important part of future research and intervention efforts for STD and HIV prevention.
