Get This! LA Banning Plastic Bags AND......

....will charge 10c a bag for paper bags! WTF! Plastic bags can be recycled, so what's the problem?

In CA. stores, they charge you .05c per can as the CRV fee. However, when you take them back to the recycler, they give you no where near that amount. How does that figure? I guess we get screwed one way or the other! Geez!
What did you think Bagiant?

California is looking to find a way to steal....er raise money to power their inflated state budget.

How best to do it is by ripping off....er increasing the rate of return for recycled items.
L.A. may be banning plastic, but they will never ban silicone

They will charge a beauty tax on breast implants. They are looking for names to call the new tax...the best rated is tit tax.

Buy the reusable bags.
The classy way to do it is to charge nothing for paper, 5c per plastic bag and donate it all to a local charity. That is happening a lot here in Canada.
The roads are like driving off road, the budget is at a massive deficit, but hey, banning plastic bags is a priority. They eventually want to ban the paper ones too and make people use cloth bags. The evil secret they don't tell you is the Salmonella, EColi, and other bacteria that can form in those cloth bags when one goes shopping and leaves them in the car in the heat when they stop at other places.

I have no problem with people using cloth bags, but I have a problem when a city is so full of problems that the board sets those problems aside and decides to put a ban on plastic bags and eventually paper bags. They should all be recalled.
