Happiness !

Them folks o'er t' Harvard, 'long with some Canuck, done studied "happiness" 'cross the USA.

And, after looking at what they done come up with, they named their study: Unhappy Cities

Anyways, . . . they asked folks 'cross the USA if'n they was happy, . . . and then they done some adjusting' of the results based upon demographics and employment status and income and then they printed this heh' map:



No wonder they named it "Unhappy Cities" !

Why who'd thunk that folks in New York City and New Jersey and Detroit and Chicago and San Francisco had anything' to be unhappy 'bout?

So, who here on the Vegas Free-For-All Forum is happy?

SF unhappy? Isn't everyone all smiles when they venture into one of the many gay/no clothes required restaurants, where they can be seated where the last sweaty, smelly ass was? Isn't that a dream-come-true?

That map matches up pretty well with the one below. I guess "taker" states like West Virginia and Mississippi are happier than "maker" states like California and New York.

I’ve given this a lot of thought, and I would say that clcjim is at least as happy as a tick on a dog of average proportions, provided said dog doesn’t fart too much.

I have no idea whether that makes me happier than DonDiego, or less so.

Indianapolis looks to be absolutely miserable. That's news to me. I kinda like it here.

Incidentally I believe studies have been done to determine the world's happiest countries. I think it might throw a wrench in DonDiego's backhanded jab at dem cwazy liberals.

I cant figure out how all these countries that have committed class warfare have such happy populations. They actually require companies to pay workers a living wage by law...and 6 weeks of vacation....and they have a complete government takeover of their healthcare system - death panels and all.....

...it just boggles the mind. Maybe San Francisco or New York can implement some of those things.

DonDiego had hoped for a happier bunch than this.

I'm damn happy.

I'm unhappy my state is blue and bankrupt and even more unhappy that the only happy state near me is the home of the Cheeseheads!
