Harry Reid believes that out Southern Border is secure

chilly - apparently cannot read. i said that the decsion which was in 1944, the country was in a different mindset and the case probably would have been decided differently today.

While chilly/forky play semantics they have never addressed the question are there any limits to executive privilege? Apparently not in their eyes

No, you said that no one challenged President Roosevelt's decision to put Americans in prison camps. That's not true.

Here's what you first wrote:

The treatment of Japanese citizens was probably illegal, but was never challenged

You changed that to this:

The treatment of American citizens of Japanese descent was probably illegal, but was never challenged

Fred Korematsu challenged the treatment. You're just ignorant of his challenge. Even after it's put right in front of your face, with pictures and a link.

Conservatives think like they do because they don't know anything. hoops2 has definitely found his tribe.

Chilly/forky/PJ won't answer the question and choose to change the subject. So one can assume that they don't think there are any limits on executive orders.

Oh bullshit.

You are the one who stupidly wrote that no one challenged the internment of Americans during WW2.

When you deny the patriotic acts of American heroes like Fred Korematsu, you get called on it.

Will Chilly ever answer the question? Never with a straight answer, I'm certain.

Oh, ok...I'll answer Hoops strawman question. YES - there are limits to what a president can order vs what must be legislated. TADA!

Using discretion when enforcing the laws does not qualify. AND HOOPS AGREES WITH ME.

How do I know? Jump over to the IRS thread and watch Hoops passionately defend the IRS enforcing the 501c law differently than the way it is written...which undermines and completely contradicts everything he is saying on this thread. But he doesn't want to talk about that. At least not out of the corner of the mouth he is using on this thread. If you want Hoops to admit he wants the executive branch to use discretion when enforcing laws then simply ask him on the IRS thread. He uses a different corner of his mouth over there

It bothers me that Harry knows his constituency is so stupid that they don't realize Harry is lying to them.

That is obvious when an immediate response to Harry's lying in this forum consisted of a deflection from the lie to a graph about deportation that is 2 years old, another deflection showing a photo of the Berlin wall, the typical deflection expressing a belief that those who believe our nation should have secure borders is bigotry, an expression of interest in the condition of another forum participant's penis, and even more expansion of deflection and obfuscation.

A secure border is a border where people are stopped from crossing it illegally. Harry Reid is a liar.

The Liberals have been more creative lately. Typically the dodge begins with something like "When George Bush was in office.......................".

Where in the constitution does it say the president has discretion to enforce laws. I believe the oath of office says faithfully execute the laws.

So you believe the president can do whatever he wants?
Are you asking me? I already answered your strawman question. See my last post. You should direct this question to your alter ego that has the opposite point of view on the IRS thread.
