He's no leader? Surprise, I don't think so

Regarding his foreign policy...we can follow Obama's policy of disengagement...or Dick Cheney's policy of reengagement. I think we generally know where the public ( and even our resident conservatives) stand on that choice. Just ask Megan Kelly.

All of the original architects of the Iraq war are crawling out from under their rocks and telling America to double down on their failed plan. And even Fox News is laughing them off the stage.

America doesn't approve of Obama's disengagement...and they don't Approve of Dick Cheney's desire to reengage....which then begs the question of what do Americans want to do? Dont ask me...Im in the crowd that wants to bring our troops home and let Iraq figure itself out. I notice our resident conservatives have their usual criticism without offering an alternative.

"Obama sucks..." Is not a foreign policy. And its not a solution to health care. And its not a jobs plan. And its not a means to balance the budget. And it does not address illegal immigration in this country. But "obama sucks" is the only solution our conservative experts have put forward on any issue since 2009.

For the record, on Friday 20 June 2014 DonDiego's blood pressure was 113/63, . . . taken by a medical professional in a clinical environment.

"Obama NOT sucking" would be a step in the right direction, . . . but it is likely unattainable.

I've posted my opinion on each of PJ's topics, but here we go again.


1. Foreign Policy: Follow through on promises. Do what you say, and say what you do.

2. Health Care: Government is not the answer to all problems. This is an issue to best be handled by the individual. Get out of this business.

3. Jobs plan: Government does not create jobs. Cut the deficit and give business confidence in America going forward. Cut the cost of doing business in America (lower taxes, less red tape, less regulation). Lower costs attract business which means jobs.

4. Balancing the budget: It is not government's job to take care of everyone. Able bodied folks should be given nothing from government. Debt problem solved!

5. Illegals: Put two parallel fences running along our southern border about 100 yards apart. KILL EVERYTHING IN THE MIDDLE! Did I make myself clear? Everything in the middle dies. No one will attempt to cross, no one will die, and no illegals will come into America. This plan cuts down on Mexican deaths, yet Liberals call it cruel. Liberals are about feelings while Conservatives are about results.

Obama has been a terrible president who was elected because he's black, not because he's good.

Dems solution to everything, spend ten generations future....in one generation.

As a veteran, I'd rather of had a residual force over in Iraq until they got their act together. I do not understand the wholescale run away and not fight by the Iraq military forces. These guys fought in 3 separate wars and they run away when confronted by a much smaller force.

PJ, you fail to remember how we (the US) fights wars. We go in fight the good the good fight, and leave when a stable government is in place to take care of the people. We just don't leave once the fighting is done without securing the peace. Obama and friends, love to leave before the real work begins. A strong residual force 10 to 20 thousand, left behind to help train and equip the Iraq forces would have likely slowed down or stopped these ISIS folks.

The Iraq government does have a lot to be desired, they need time to get used to a different system and to learn how to get along together. Iran's meddeling does not help in any shape or form and the Iraq government is to blame allowing this to happen.

We thought they had their act together. I've only seen brief videos of ISIS but what I've seen shows them driving around in mini-vans. The report I read said there's about 7000 insurgents beating 250,000 soldiers in the Iraq army.
