Hotel Stay - Next Trip

Hope you are all ok.

Next trip to Vegas is all booked up - flying in on the 22nd May for a week.

Sept 2012 was my last visit so i'm really looking forward to it.

Last trip we stayed at our usual base which is the Luxor. Got a comped Tower Luxury Suite and an adjoining Tower Queen room all comped. However I really didnt enjoy the vibe there. Its been gradually getting worse and worse and last visit i made my mind up not to return.

I was determined to stay at Aria for the next trip and am now getting round to booking something up. However the reality is dawning on just how much Aria is going to cost. We want a corner suite and adjoining queen room and its working out about $3500 on Mlife for the week.

I know i'll get some of that back in comps but still. So the question is shall i just suck it up at Luxor and have the extra spends between the 3 of us or do we push the boat out and go for Aria.

My main gripes with Luxor were the casino - its old and the dealers just seem uninterested - i spend a lot of time gambling. Everything just seems worn out and tired and i was blown away with how fresh and new aria was.

Advice / Discussion welcomed.

Well Aria is nicer, newer, and does have a far better location.

Vdara is typically cheaper than Aria and you get all the extras with the Kitchenette and stuff.

Staying at Vdara would not be a wise choice for a gambler. No casino to build comps.
Even if they are connected with a casino for comps, it's not the same as having one just an elevator ride away.

Yeah I really want to be in a hotel with the Casino literally just outside the room. Probably spend a god 8-12hours of the day gambling.

I checked out Vdara just outta interest and it really is a lot cheaper than Aria - I was suprised at the difference.

I just stayed at the Mandalay Bay (same hotel group) and was in a beautiful remodeled room.

Well no matter what, you're going to be there at a nice time of the year. Temps could be anywhere from 70 to 100 degrees. Have a great time.

Dude, if you have that kind of coin, go to EBay and search Las Vegas Elara Hilton. There's two available. That place is sick. And most of the views are probably decent.
