I can go for that spanking TG. Now you're talking!

And Roulette Man has just been out creeped.

Didn't think it was possible, but never underestimate BAGIANT when it comes to odd. Roulette Man is saved by the strangest dude ever.

I don't think anyone can outcreep you when you made fun of Lou Piniellia leaving the Cubs two weeks early to go be with his dying mother. That is about as creepy as anybody has ever been on this board.
OMG. Let's argue about Lou Piniellia now.

It is truly too bad that you didn't get to read what he posted or you wouldn't be joking right now. I don't think I've seen anybody get much lower he made fun of Lou leaving the Cubs early in order to be with his dying mother. It is my understanding that she didn't live much longer after he left the team, so I'm happy for Lou that he got some time in.
Seriously? Is it up to anyone to judge how one deals with their family matters when it comes to death?
There is no rule book that has to be followed.
My sister is 3000 miles away with a brain tumor. Should our whole family stop living and making a living when someone says there is only 2 weeks left? Nobody has the right to judge on these matters!
Maybe his mother held on as long ad she did because her son was following his dream.

First of all it wasn't Lou joking about it, it was Number 51 joking about Lou leaving a team early to go be with a dying mother. if you think that is okay, then perhaps I misjudged you. I don't think I have. I think you are probably a decent person, but you are defending someone here who has no justification for being defended.
What does everyone think about Pete Rose and his habit of gambling on baseball while managing the Reds?

Side note on Pete Rose. I usually go to Vegas in the third weekend of Vegas. For the last two years he has been at a sports memorbilia store between the Mandalay Bay and Luxor, signing autographs.

Ok. I did read it wrong.
My apologies.

As long as he never bet against his team, I have no problem with it. He played the game the right way and he should be the arbiter of any "unwritten rules" debates.

I understand how baseball will never want the impression that a game was fixed due to gambling. The only worry on Pete Rose is that even if he bet on his team, he may have kept pitchers in longer than he should have or have used someone in relief, that a manager wouldn't have done if he didn't have a bet on the game.

I think about Major League Baseball and how Steve Howe of the Dodgers was basically banned several times. What is to prevent a relief pitcher from serving up a home run ball in exchange for cocaine, or to wipe out a past amount owed for drugs?
