How pissed off do you think Steve Wynn is?

As far as front desk clerks in Vegas go, I have always received excellent customer service checking in at W/E & V/P.
That would tell me they enjoy their job.

Very possible....I bet they would enjoy it less if their benefits packages were stripped. Consider that happening in your own employment for an example.

And I'm not old enough to be a douchebag. Thats another prerequisite to my definition. I prefer jerk, bastard, or a-Hole.

I don't think you are any of those terms. With that being said, it's funny because I use those terms more often in opposite terms than you do. I'm more likely to refer to some of the young people (not kids) who invade LV on the weekend as douchebags. A cranky older person is more likely to be referred by me as a jerk, bastard, or a-hole. However, it doesn't mean that I wouldn't imply your definition if I felt the situation needed it.

Actually LasVegas.com has pretty much reflected what today's douchebag is in this old promo. They are usually twenty something males, with spray on tans, sunglasses, and think they are way too cool.

Pretty tough to argue that one =) But be careful who you call a douchebag. It provokes some pretty hostile responses from posters here...and even more hostile responses from some poster's imaginary friends.

I will heed your sage advice. It is JMO but the term douchebag seems to imply a complete lack of moral fiber along with degenerate behavior which I can see why that would upset people more than being called an a-hole for example. A person could be temporarily upset with someone and call them an a-hole without completely assassinating their character.

Exactly! The previously mentioned are not douchebags. (some posters here are though, you can tell by the avatars)

"Do you like to show off your nipple ring in public?"

Well, DonDiego is happy to report that he does not like to show off his nipple ring in public, . . . and is, therefore, not a Vegas Douchebag.

But, while on this subject, as DonDiego ages he notes a slight growth of his man boobs. At the moment they remain perky, but can someone recommend a quality manssiere for poor old DonDiego as he enters his dotage.
Since Wynn and Adelson both achieved success through hard work and serious risk-taking, I will not call them douchebags. Their shared portion of the Strip is a pleasant retreat from the CET corridor and MGM amalgamation.

I won't comment on Macau. This topic generally lures me into stuporous state of intense disinterest.

Beyond declaring my own left-wing bias, I won't discuss politics, because the subject raises hackles and hampers civil discourse.

I will say that in spite of real and perceived negatives, I find it difficult to dislike Sheldon Adelson, whom I would call a staunchly committed ideological zealot. Wynn, on the other hand, can go straight to China.
