HUGE Cheating Scandal In Nascar. TRUEX JR OUT !!

Nascar just dropped the hammer on MWR after Sat night's shenanigans at Richmond.

Penalties:

Michael Waltrip Racing fined $300,000, general manager Ty Norris received an indefinite suspension. Martin Truex Jr, Clint Bowyer, and Brian Vickers were docked 50 points apiece.

And the biggest penalty ?

Martin Truex Jr. has been booted from the Chase......and Ryan Newman is now IN the chase.

F NASCAR!
I take it you're not a Nascar fan (or even occassional watcher) Bags ?

PS - Interesting thread title on the new topic you posted about 5 minutes ago !
They should have kicked Bowyer out too and let Gordon in.

I re-watched Bowyer's interview on pit road after the race Saturday night. Like everyone else, I always liked him, but knowing what we now know and seeing the footage he really looks like a terrible liar. So disappointing that he didn't realize not to do what he was told.
IMHO, NASCAR is for those folks who do not understand professional wrestling.

I have always liked him too, but some terrible decision making was done Sat night. After listening to the in car audio, sounds to me like Bowyer and his crew chief had a code worked out (itch your arm) before the race started.

My opinion of Bowyer is down a few notches now. Don't think that 5 Hour Energy, Aarons, and Napa are very happy either.
That's Racin'
Well, Michael you have temporarily unseated Rick Hendrick (think Chad Knaus) for the top spot on the cheater's list. $300K is a boat load of money for you, for Hendrick it would be a drop in the bucket.

NASCAR - Fair & Balanced.
Ruh - Row !

Looks like Penske Racing and Front Row Motorsports also caught cheating Sat night ! (to benefit Joey Logano)

Stay tuned !
