I am tired of it.

I'm sick and tired of these rich and famous people killing themselves, then having 24/7 coverage of these eccentrics with every Tom, Dick, and Harry eulogizing them as if they lived exceptional lives and are worthy of canonization. This time around we've got Robin Williams up on the pedestal, who slit his wrists and hung himself for good measure because his "career was declining". WTF? One of the wealthiest, greatest actors and talents in the history of the world with friends and fans up the ass, feels depressed? What do they expect us normal, everyday folk who struggle with just about everything he doesn't, to do, feel sorry for him?

It's disgusting. He led an outwardly decent life, naturally tainted with the liberal Hollywood disease of alcoholism and cocaine addiction. (yeah right, let's legalize drugs and see how great life becomes). Now we have to endure the poor baby's suicide for weeks on end? Kiss my butt, Williams. I was a lifelong fan of yours before yesterday, when I also heard of your drug addiction for the very first time. How dare you take your talent away from your HUNDREDS of millions of fans, and at the same time make us have to soak in your weaknesses. Your life was THAT bad? You needed to have stopped by this board to get a glimpse of what real everyday pain is all about.

Money, fame, millions of friends have absolutely nothing to do with depression.
al, clearly you know nothing about clinical depression, have never been touched by it (self, family, close friends), have never been touched by suicide (family, friends). I do pray you are never affected by it.

The more publicity the better, in my opinion.
Hey Singer, isn't poluting one messageboard with your worthless shit enough? So now you're trying to present yourself as 'everyday people'? Make up your mind please. You can't be the vp God of all times and a vp millionaire on Monday and a poor regular guy next door on Tuesday. Bye Bye Rob Zingerrrrrrrr

Bye the way, regarding legalizing drugs, please tell us which state is planning to legalize cocaine? You're such a dipshit you don't even know the difference between soft and hard drugs.

Anyhow, R.I.P. Robin Williams. You were one of a kind, a true comedian and wonderful actor.

Al is cool with regular people being depressed and killing themselves. It is only the famous who piss him off. Got it.
Aside from the lurkerp's psychotic post, what little I know about clinical depression is the more supportive friends one has, the better. Williams had thousands, if you can believe all the sudden attention-craving celebrities in the news today. Other than that, only delusional, dysfunctional , greedy, thoughtless sob's kill themselves when they have the world going for them.

Liberal nutjobs want ALL drugs legalized. Doesn't matter how many good people end up victimized by it. Just legalize the drugs. Yesiree.

Didn't say that Jimbo. Get your facts (or your glasses) straight.

You couldn't be more wrong. For situational sadness (grief, loss of a loved one, bad medical diagnosis), yes the support of friends is invaluable.

In severe clinical depression support from friends changes nothing, though it can get one through a day, and maybe to a doctor or an ER. The fortunate ones respond to treatment, but it is ever present. There is no greed, just exquisite pain that cannot be described, and nothing can stop it in the mind of one with severe clinical depression.
Lets all pitch in and get some flowers for Albeadle and DrMilled. The last 24 hours have been really rough for them.
I'm not buying all this "clinical" nonsense anyway. First there's an outbreak of autism, then along comes the stupid restless leg syndrome, then we get inundated with the depression crap, and let's not forget about that liberal disease: PTSD, which can and has been used far and wide to get as many slugs as the Obama admin. possibly can onto that scam program, SSDI, just so there'll be more uneducated democratic voters stumbling around. Can you imagine the mess if this phoney PTSD were around when all our heroes came home from the hand-to-hand combat horrors of WWII?
